The Caravan for Your Mobility Scooter
It must be the world’s smallest caravan at just 2 m by 75 cm, but it is claimed that it can be towed by a mobility scooter.
It might be small in size, but it is still going to take a large chunk out of your wallet, with a price-tag of £5,500. Mind you, the QTvan caravan does feature a full-size bed, a 19 inch television, a drink cabinet and tea-making facilities.
Originally developed by the Environmental transport Agency (ETA) to highlight the issue of 220,000 mobility scooter users who do not hold any breakdown cover, the mini-caravan is now being touted as a Royal Wedding camp-out possibility for those senior citizens planning on bagging their spot for the Royal Wedding procession!
ETA claim that if the electricity used to power the mobility scooter is from a green provider, then the QTvan is completely carbon-neutral, making it the world’s most environmentally-friendly caravan.
It is even being offered with enhanced optional extras of solar roof panels, SKY TV, a games console (not sure how useful this may be to senior citizens!), extra-wide wing mirror and custom paint jobs!
