Power Mobility Scooters for Michigan Patients
The Scooter Store, one of our nation’s leading mobility equipment suppliers, has today announced a new partnership to help provide mobility scooters and other products to customers of HealthPlus in Michigan.
HealthPlus of Michigan’s Commerical, Medicare and Medicaid insurance programs were heralded as being among “America’s Best Health Plans” in 2006 by a United States News and World Report.
The Scooter Store will now assist HealthPlus of Michigan in improving the long-term mobility of member’s with mobility impairment problems. The Scooter Store’s managed Care Division has grown extraordinarily since it began its operations in 2001. It now has over 90 partnerships and covers more than 114 million people across the U.S. The division carries more than 40 quality-trained Mobility Consultants and Specialist Physicians who work with patients, their physicians and their insurance companies to verify eligibility for medical mobility products.
